Book says eight foot pounds, but I would use about six or seven if it was me because those bolts WILL break if you over do it. If you don't have a torque wrench handy, just SLIGHTLY snug them up. Those springs are there to help hold tension against the bolts so they won't back out. Also, use a little Lock Tite on them just to play it safe. The blue Lock Tite would work fine. Hope this helps.
